About Me! Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Jenny Jacobs, a Dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics who helps women over 40 understand the often-confusing link between digestive discomfort and midlife hormonal shifts.

After years of working with women who felt frustrated by unpredictable digestion, persistent bloating, and the sense that their bodies were no longer responding the way they used to, I noticed a clear pattern. Many were doing “all the right things,” yet still felt stuck in a cycle of trial-and-error that only made symptoms harder to manage.

That’s why I developed The Peri Gut Method - an approach designed to support digestion by working with the body’s natural hormonal changes, rather than pushing against them.

My work focuses on helping women move from feeling uncomfortable, cautious around food, and unsure what will trigger symptoms, to feeling more at ease, informed, and confident in their day-to-day digestion.
